The location of this hotel is a convenient 20 mins from Dempasar Airport, and should cost you less than 25,000 local currency (less than US$2.50). Go by the meter with taxis (recommend call a cab from the airport, with a more trusted company like Blue Bird), and if the driver tries to rip you off, you can always remember his ID and politely inform him that it is not your first time in Bali.
Even the smallest rooms in Hotel Santika Bandung are squeaky clean, very presentable and comfortable. The beach by the resort is more secluded and private to just the resorts nearby, so you can have more privacy, and enjoy a cleaner and less crowded beach.
